Breast Cancer Resources
One Community. One Fight.
Meet Our Team of Experts
We offer the full spectrum of breast cancer surgical care, including lumpectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, mastectomy and chemotherapy port placement. We work with our plastic surgeons to offer same day reconstruction of mastectomies in the appropriate setting.
Dr. Daniel Haynes (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), Dr. Natalie Scott (Breast Surgery), and Dr. Jeremy Powers (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) make up one of the most integrated teams of experts in our region. Together, our team works hand-in-hand to provide you the compassionate, expert care you need to return to a healthy life.
Why Teamwork Matters
Hear from Dr. Natalie Scott about why the teamwork patients experience at ETSU Health between our breast surgeon, plastic surgeons and medical oncology team are so important to improving patient outcomes.
Join Us for Your Photo Session
Those who have survived or are still fighting breast cancer are invited to a free mini photo session to celebrate their strength and beauty.
The setup will include a pink photo drop and flowers from a local flower farm. Each participant will receive 5-10 high-resolution digital images from their session.
Participants may stop by at their convenience from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 and 21. Sessions will take place in the auditorium of ETSU Health’s clinic at 325 N. State of Franklin Road in Johnson City.
A Survivor's Perspective
“Those of us who have seen this up close, I think we have an obligation to those who have not. To tell you about the terrain and tell you about the pitfalls and the highs and the helps. Dr. Scott has been an invaluable help to me.
"Cancer changes you. Changes your perspective. It changes your priorities. Changes your appearance. Changes your family. And I want that change to be for the better. And if I can help just one other person to understand that change is hard and scary, after what we’ve been through.
"I was fortunate enough to find a surgeon who saw that fear in me, and saw that apprehension for the future, and was able to address that and fix me physically as well. I’m just very, very blessed. Very thankful.”
