Dr. Bourassa serves as an associate professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at East Tennessee State University. Her primary responsibility involves teaching the neurological track within the DPT program, which encompasses courses in neuroscience and neurorehabilitation. With a wealth of clinical experience, she has worked across various settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient neurologic, and day rehabilitation settings. Her expertise lies in physical therapy management for individuals affected by neurologic disorders such as brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. Additionally, Dr. Bourassa has received specialized training in physical therapy management for vestibular disorders.
