Leigh Shaw became a pediatric nurse practitioner because she enjoys caring for children from birth to adulthood. She spent over 10 years as a bedside nurse. Those experiences pushed her to desire a deeper understanding of medicine and the ability to provide holistic, patient-centered care at the provider level. Leigh also wanted to travel with medical mission trips and incorporate her knowledge to educate local providers and nurses in different parts of the world. She is passionate about caring for children and their families in times of illness.

Leigh has been working in health care in the Nashville area for over 15 years. She moved to our area after getting married and enjoys the beautiful mountains and outdoor activities.
