Dr. Alina Bhat is passionate about both her work and profession. Her primary focus is to maintain compassionate, empathetic relationships with her patients and uphold the current standards of care in the field of medical oncology and hematology, which means upholding confidentiality and ensuring safety. Dr. Bhat wishes to offer the highest quality of evidence-based medical practice to her patients.
Dr. Bhat’s decision to become a doctor was largely driven by her family and the surroundings she grew up in. She looked up to her family members who served in the medical profession. Gradually, she was intrigued and driven by the science and level of dedication needed to become competent in a profession that requires focus and a sense of responsibility to serve others.
She loves our area, having always enjoyed the mountains and the peaceful environment. She also loves working with the people of our region, be it her patients, ETSU Health staff or faculty. She considers it a pleasure to be a part of ETSU.
