Our travel clinic is a part of ETSU Health Infectious Diseases - Kingsport. Our infectious diseases specialist provides a more complete approach than a typical travel visit.
You’ll receive more than just vaccines. We help you understand your personalized risks based on your current health for safer and more enjoyable travel.

When to Schedule
Plan early when possible.
- 8 weeks before travel is ideal.
- At least 4 weeks is recommended.
- Less than 2 weeks? We can still help, but options may be limited.
- Leaving within a week? We will do our best to prepare you.
Please bring your vaccine record if you have it.

Why ETSU Health?
Our infectious disease specialists oversee clinical care and teaching at the ETSU Center of Excellence of HIV/AIDS Care, a Ryan White funded center. Our facility provides top quality services to all of East Tennessee. We are also involved in the full spectrum of research to better understand the risk factors associated with — and develop treatments for — fungal, bacterial, and viral infections.
Our specialists have a broad range of research interests, including molecular pathogenesis, epidemiology, and clinical studies, with presentations in all of these areas at national meetings and extramural funding for translational initiatives. Particular areas of interest include the immunopathogenesis of hepatitis C infection, molecular epidemiology, and the treatment of resistant organisms.
